MEET THE TEAM

Sunflower the Kid was raised on the streets of Compton. After getting into a fist/gun/knife/shattered bottle fight and WINNING the police were after Sunflower! She left her city and ran for Peru. Once there she learned to control her mind and heal using chakras. She joined a monk sanctuary and did a 3 year vipassana. She is the most holy, environmentally conscious human in the whole universe. She knows, she has spoken to extraterrestrials. They are nice.

Furry Face came out of the womb with a full beard. Our resident paleo and crossfit guy, his love for all things health and nutrition is big, full and ever-growing…just like his beard. He’s our only editor on the team to ever own a pet goat. Currently he enjoys spending time with his dogs when he isn’t at the gym.

No he’s not a grouch! Organic Oscar is our resident expert on all things organic since he grew up on a farm. His full time job is in landscaping, so he loves plants and loves the dirt. Known as “Big O” and “OO7”, Oscar’s specialty isn’t so much in the writing as it is in the taste testing of all the supplements…a true team player!

High school wrestling champ Nature Boy is not someone you want to mess with. His short fuse is normally reserved for false marketing claims. He studied advertising and works in the industry, so he helps to evaluate everything in regards to web design, marketing, advertising, and customer service. His contributions are invaluable when you can get him to stop grabbing everyone in a headlock.

Grow what your father gave you. Father nature is our domesticated outdoorsman. He is the office carnivore. He believes fresh food harvested yourself is the highest grade of food you can get. He spends his free time hunting, fishing and getting dirty.

“Ho, ho, ho!” No that’s not Santa, it’s the Jolly Green Giant, a guy who only recently got into health products, research and lifestyle. He has tried all the diet fads and “miracle products” that have come out the last few years. He focuses on a mainly plant based diet with scatterings of fish and eggs. When he isn’t reading, writing or talking about health stuff, you can usually find him on the basketball court like most guys his height.

Mindful Kiwi had always lived life in the fast lane. Being a professional race car driver was really great and it made her rich and famous. After a detrimental crash (shopping cart+old woman), she broke all of the bones in her body. After she healed, she decided to take things slow for once. She moved to a small home in a rural area, planted a garden, and adopted 2 3-legged dogs and 1 2-legged dog. She enjoys walking with her dogs, reading up on natural remedies she can grow in her garden, and making vegan desserts.

Cute Cactus was birthed at the ripe age of 0 in a vast desert. She searched and searched for her purpose in life and could never find it until she did. She created Cactus Coolers, the summery drink! You can see her posing on every can! After the pressures of fame and fortune, Cute Cactus went into a depression and wanted to find the real meaning of life. She became interested in all things organic and natural. She became so natural that she could literally control the elements. The TV series Avatar: The Last Airbender is based on her powers.
