Website
The Balance of Nature website seems updated and simple. Navigating the website was simple as they have many “Order Now” buttons that take you to their product page. We also like how they had 3rd party reviews on their homepage. At the bottom of the page, you can find more options like Support, About, Eduction, and Resources. Balance of Nature does have a live chat on their website (which will be discussed more in the Customer Service section) and they gave us tracking information there.
Catalog
Balance of Nature literally only has 3 products?? This was a huge surprise. It is kind of nice that you aren’t overwhelmed but also how do we know this is all we need? They sell Fruits, Veggies, and a Fiber & Spice Blend. Because they only sell 3 products we obviously bought the Fruits and Veggies.
Packaging information
The Balance of Nature packaging is definitely unique. They list their ingredients alphabetically, not by amount. There is a serving size and amount per serving. There are no percentages, nutrition facts, absolutely nothing. It would definitely be nice to see what vitamins and such are in each serving. We understand that the Balance of Nature blend of ingredients is proprietary but we want to know at least what vitamins and minerals we can expect to be getting. Isn’t that why you take a supplement is for nutrients?
While their packaging doesn’t have much information, they were very willing to answer our questions about the products.
The packaging that the Balance of Nature products came in was very interesting. They sent sooo many extra papers as well as 2 books. The papers were kind of shoved in here and didn’t look very high quality. Those went straight to the trash. However, the books were nice and had information about all areas of Balance of Nature including the founder Dr. Howard, the products, and their philosophies.
After getting all of this stuff they then mailed us a letter… another piece of paper.
Customer service
We used their live chat feature and the agent was instantly there to help! Our agent was super helpful and it was obvious that they knew a lot about both the products and the company.
We also contacted them via Instagram and they responded within minutes. Balance of Nature is super active on Facebook and Instagram and reply to essentially every comment they get. We also noticed they were active on Youtube, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Pinterest.
They reached out to us and informed us of an opportunity we had as a Preferred Customer to meet with one of their Health Coaches. We were kind of confused by this and hadn’t heard of it before but we decided to try it out. Cute Cactus met with a Health Coach named Donna. She actually found this very helpful because they told her more about the product and the philosophies of the company. She could really tell that they care about their customers and want to help everyone achieve health and wellness. She worked with Donna to set healthy goals to start feeling how she wanted to be. This was definitely a positive bonus from a Balance of Nature that we were not expecting.
We did face a problem when we tried to cancel our subscription. We found out that this was not an option to do online and that we would have to call in. We would much rather cancel online on our own time but oh well. We called but no one answered so we left a voicemail and it took them 6 hours to call us back. It was same day service, but it was frustrating to have to wait that long. Reading Balance of Nature reviews, this is a common issue of having a hard time canceling.
Quality
According to the Balance of Nature ingredients list and from what they told us, they only use 100% whole fruits and vegetables. They don’t use any synthetics, fillers, fortifiers, hormones, additives, preservatives, isolates, or any other additives. This kind of sounds too good to be true but we actually believe them! After talking with them and tasting and smelling the product, you can really tell that it is 100% natural. They state that because their product only contains real fruits and vegetables, children can take it too. It is safe for adults and children and you can take as much as you want every day.
We were a little disappointed to see that Balance of Nature does not have any certifications such as Non-GMO or USDA Organic. They said their products are high quality organic and Non-GMO but we would like to see this certification on their product.
Balance of Nature freeze-dries their produce and then puts them into a powder form to put it into capsules. We researched this method and it appears to be the best method to help retain the nutrients from the produce. When we asked them about how their product was made they sent us an awesome video that explained it very well!
Balance of Nature products are 100% vegan including vegan capsules made of plant cellulose.
From what we found, Balance of Nature has good reviews and has seen lots of success. They have a 4.7/5 on TrustPilot.
Price
Balance of Nature Fruits & Veggies are $89.95 if you order as a one-time Retail Customer.
If you order as a Preferred Customer (basically a subscriber to their product) it is only $69.95. You do have a one time fee of $24.95 however we didn’t mind because they offered us a promo code that covered this cost and a little extra. You also can cancel or hold at any time by calling them so we weren’t worried about being locked in.
We noticed you can also purchase Balance of Nature on Amazon but it cost a lot more money. It was $99.95 for a set of Fruits & Veggies.
Product
Balance of Nature says that you can swallow the capsules, chew the capsules, or open them and sprinkle them over food. Cute Cactus and Sunflower the Kid tasted these products and then made everyone try them because they were so good! These definitely tasted the most real out of all the products we tried. The Veggie powder tasted a bit spicey and strong but it has cayenne peppers and garlic so that makes sense. No one really likes the taste of the Veggie powder but some people tried it in food and loved it! The Fruit powder seriously tasted so yummy. It really tastes like real fruits in powder form. It’s like a healthy Pixy Stick!
The capsule itself is a little bit larger than the others we’ve seen. When we tried them some people swallowed the capsules and just did one at a time. Other people opened the capsules and just ate the powder inside.
Experience
Cute Cactus, Sunflower the Kid, Father Nature, and Jolly Green Giant tried this product for 10 days. They continued to live their lives as they normally would. Over this time most of them felt like they were sleeping better and had more energy.
Recommendation
We would highly recommend Balance of Nature. It is by far the best quality product we have seen. We all loved eating the Fruits like candy. And we aren’t the only ones who would recommend it, check out this honest Balance of Nature review or this other review!
