Naturelo claims to be premium supplements. Their motto is “Be good to your health”. They state that their mission is from nature with love. They focus on using ingredients from nature, premium quality, transparency, and customers first.

Website Navigation

The Naturelo website is simple and easy to use. We do wish it told us more about their actual product on the homepage. We would like to see how it is made here. Their website is easy to go through and it is simple to find what you are looking for. It is user friendly but also visually appealing. Everything looks clean and up to date. Their information makes sense and is pretty helpful. They have lots of visuals and videos in order to help you better understand their products and their company.

Catalog

Naturelo has a total of 49 products which is a variety, but not as overwhelming as some. We decided to purchase the Naturelo Whole Food Multivitamin For Men 50+ and Naturelo Whole Food Multivitamin For Women 50+.

They have products for men’s health, women’s health, children’s health, green superfood powder, probiotics, omega-3, vitamins & minerals, and specialty supplements.

Packaging Information

The packaging information on Natuerolo products is informative, they have a big detailed nutrition label. The label lists each vitamin and mineral amount as well as where it came from. They also list the Organic Fruit & Vegetable Blend, Digestive Enzyme & Probiotics Blend, Prostate Health Blend (men’s 50+), Joint Health Blend (women’s 50+), Brain Health Blend, Heart Health Blend, and Eye Health Blend.

We do like the big icons on the bottles stating No GMOs, No Soy, No Gluten, Vegan & Vegetarian. But wait…what? If something is vegan… it’s obviously vegetarian too. Why do they need both of those?

Customer Service

We contacted Naturelo via email and hear back within a few days. Their answer was pretty helpful but not totally clear either. We also contacted them on Instagram (they are also not very active on Facebook) but we noticed they had not posted since February 2020 and did not receive a message back.

Naturelo does have a popup on the website that invites you to enter your best email to join the NATURELO community and save 10% on your first order.

They have typical return policy stated as “We want you to be fully satisfied with every item that you purchase from www.naturelo.com. If you are not satisfied with a product you’ve purchased, you may return the item within 30 days from the order date for a full refund of the purchase price, minus the cost of shipping. The item must be returned, unused or used, in good condition, in original boxes (whenever possible), and with all paperwork and accessories to ensure full credit. Please contact us at support@naturelo.com to obtain a Return Authorization Number and the shipping address for our returns center. Refunds will be issued within 3 business days of receipt of the returned products. Please obtain package tracking to ensure the products are successfully delivered to the specified address.”

Quality

The quality of Naturelo was very concerning to us. They claim they have no additives of any kind but it seems sketchy AF. Naturelo has a video on their website stating that they use whole fruits and vegetables in their products but their products do not look, smell, or taste this way.

We thought it was strange that they use whole fruits and vegetables but their capsules are a white color with a chalky texture. They state that the reason their products are white is due to the freeze-drying process they use. They also state that beta-carotene is very white as well as calcium and magnesium which care the bulkiest ingredients in their products. A quick google search of what color is natural beta-carotene informed us that it is actually red, orange, and yellow pigments.

Naturelo also states that they don’t necessarily add synthetic vitamins and minerals to their product but they sometimes use fermentation to raise the levels of the ingredients. So they think they are being natural in adding more vitamins and minerals to their products.

Looking into each individual aspect of the nutrition label, we found somethings that were unclear or didn’t necessarily state where they come from. A review on Health Knight explains “The point I’m trying to hammer home is that the nutrients in Naturelo supplements are not fully derived from natural sources (whole foods) after all. In fact, they are not doing so most of the time. Just take a solid look at the labels. They[‘re] actually deriving only 9 nutrients from natural sources, like vitamin C, D, E, K2, Choline, Calcium, Iodine, Magnesium, and Carotenoids. What about the other 16 nutrients? Well, these are just the chemically identical forms of the natural vitamin or mineral forms that are easily created in a laboratory. Moreover, they have nothing to do with directly coming from nature. And Naturelo themselves approve that on their about us page. They just don’t give it to you so straight up and honest.” We found this very interesting as this review really dived into the truth about Naturelo.

Naturelo is a proud supporter of Vitamin Angels which provides vitamins to mothers and children under five who are at high risk of malnutrition. We like knowing what charities each company works with.

Product

We wanted to taste this product to know how natural it tasted. The bottle states the capsules can be swallowed or opened and added to food or drink. We opened the capsule (which some people who have a hard time swallowing capsules would have to do anyway) to get a better idea of the taste. The smell is sort of a stale food and chemical mix. The taste is not pleasant at all. It is very chemically tasting and has a strong taste of calcium. If you are brave enough to take these in the first place, we would not recommend opening the capsules.

Experience

Cute Cactus and Organic Oscar took this product for 10 days. As they took it, they continued to live their normal lifestyle with no changes. They did not like this product at all. Cute Cactus got a strange headache every day while taking this product. Organic Oscar had to make sure he ate something before and after taking the capsules or else he would get sharp pains in his stomach.

Recommendation

We would avoid Naturelo products. This product legit scared us! The quality seems very strange and the product itself is very iffy. There are definitely better products out there that better incorporate whole foods into their products.
