Website Navigation

This website was easy to navigate. The products page has a great filter system. The blog page doesn’t have a search tab so that page is a bit confusing and mixed up. There is a Where to Buy tab that allows you to search for stores near you that sell the Nutrigold brand. They list their number and email at the bottom of the home page. Under their About tab there is a page called Case Against Synthetics. There is a timeline showing Nutrigold’s research. All the words are in a small font but when you hover over the words, a magnifying glass appears to help you read it easier. This was not the best way they could have made it easy to read. They could have just written the text in a larger font, but okay.

Catalog

They have 64 products, which is quite a lot. We bought the One Daily Women’s and Men’s Multi Gold.

Packaging Information

The packaging clearly states that adults are to take 3 capsules daily. Ingredients are stated with percentages and sources.

Customer Service

The footer contains a Contact Us page. You enter your email, name, phone number, and message/questions. We skipped giving them a phone number and it was still sent. That is the only option of contacting them on the page. On the very bottom of the footer bar there is an email address and phone number that is apparently for personal data use, but it’s there. They also have Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, so you could ask a question there. We sent our email on a Friday and they emailed us the next Monday. They answered all of our questions and even told us their vitamin B-12 was synthetic. At least they are honest.

Quality

Synthetic vitamin B-12, extracts, and isolates. How they get their produce into their capsules: “One of the predominant methods is a water-based extraction process”. So… extracts? Their Vitamin K comes from MK-7 (natto), which is soy isolate. This supplement gives you 1000% of your vitamin B-12 needs, so that’s unnecessary. In the email they sent us, they literally said their B-12 is synthetic. They are Non-GMO, Certified Clean, Certified Vegan, and Ko-Kosher Certified. They show all their certifications on the Third Party Certifications tab. Even with all these certifications, they are hardly natural. By tasting the powder inside the capsule we knew there wasn’t a ton of whole produce. They even provide the certificate of analysis for every one of their products so that you can see how much heavy metal is actually in their products. This company is very transparent! They literally tell you that their ingredients are synthetic and they show you what you are really eating when you take their supplements!

They also have a Youtube with 2 videos.

Product

If one could not swallow pills and had to open them up and take the powder inside, they wouldn’t take Nutrigold. “It’s not good. It’s similar in taste to Juice Plus except less potent, like a watered-down version”. -Jolly Green Giant. It has less of a real food taste than Juice Plus and Juice Plus hardly tastes like real food. Basically what we are getting at is Nutrigold tastes very synthetic and unnatural. But, the capsules are small and easy to swallow.

Experience

The taste is not great, the smell is not great, the overall experience was not great. Sunflower the Kid and Cute Cactus took the recommended dose every day for 10 days. They noticed absolutely no changes in the physical or mental health. At least their capsules were small and easy to swallow.

Recommendation

We do not recommend this product. We saw no changes, positive or negative. They use synthetic ingredients and fruit and vegetable extracts.
