Website Navigation
Their website is super trendy complete with high-quality photos of their products. They have a picture of a product named Sol Food, but I couldn’t find the product, but I couldn’t find it by typing its name. It’s under the name Vegan Vitamin D Tablets, so that is a little strange. They have a live chat feature. There are 3 tabs on the top left. When you open the shop tab there are categories you can shop in. There is a “Build a Box” option where you can sign up for a subscription and build your own box with the products you want. With the subscription, you get 20% off every order, customize your own delivery schedule, and cancel anytime.
Catalog
We bought the Organic Golden Milk. We originally wanted to buy the Organic Greens Powder, but it was out of stock on their website and Amazon. They used to have a multivitamin, but it got too popular so they decided to discontinue it instead of sacrificing quality. Which sucks because no multivitamins, but at least you know they care. They have somewhere around 30 products. All of their products are safe for all ages (obviously, pills are safe for those who can swallow them) and genders. They do suggest speaking to a doctor before starting any of their products.
Packaging information
The supplement facts are helpful and thorough. There are instructions on how to take it and store it. Mix one scoop in 8 oz. of warm water or milk. It is a 30 day supply.
Customer Service
They have a live chat feature, so that is awesome. A girl named Kelly answered me fairly quickly. She was optimistic and helpful. They have a 60-day return policy where they will refund you in full, but they do not accept opened products. We contacted them over Instagram Direct Message where they replied 2 days later with an informational and upbeat answer. They supply an email, phone number, and texting number to contact for questions. There is also a place where you can fill out a form to send in questions. They are active on Instagram and Facebook.
Quality
Their products are safe for children because they are made of 100% real food ingredients, which is rare of these “natural” supplement companies. They are organic, non-GMO, ethically sourced, contain no parabens, no synthetic pesticides or herbicides, 9nd are plant-based. They have a few different processes for how they get their ingredients into their powders and pills. They freeze-dry (quickly freezing the produce then extracting the water, a great way to keep the nutrients), spray dry (a process of turning the produce/plant/etc. Into powder by rapidly drying it. Heat damaged nutrients), cold-press (juicing), and “some ingredients are extracted with water” (so… extracts?). All of the vitamins and minerals in their products are from natural sources but most of the nutrients are gone by the time they make it into the bottle. However, they don’t add any parabens, synthetic pesticides, or herbicides.
Price
The Golden Milk Powder is $29.74 and $34.99 on Amazon.
Product
This product smells so yummy! Nature Boy, Cute Cactus, and Father Nature all tried a small taste of it on their finger. It was pretty good! Sunflower the Kid tried a scoop of it in almond milk but didn’t blend it very well. It tasted fine at first, but she got an un-blended chunk and it was gross. If you really take the time to blend it and maybe steam your milk, it could be really good. This flavor is very popular in coffee shops as a healthy alternative to coffee. Overall, it was pretty tasty.
Experience
We all really loved the smell and taste of this product. Cute Cactus and Father Nature each took the recommended amount for 10 days. Even though it was a delicious drink, they saw no positive effects. Tumeric is very healthy and super great to introduce into your diet, yet we didn’t see any positive changes.
Recommendation
We are at a crossroads. The ingredients in this product are very healthy for you and we would recommend people taking these ingredients in their everyday lives. Also, their customer service was one of the best we’ve seen. But, we did not see any physical changes taking this product. Maybe if we had taken it for a few months, we would have seen results, who knows. Overall, based on our critiquing standards, we do not recommend this product.
